Will Buhari be the change we envisage?

For about six months now, the question; “will Buhari be the change we envisage?” has been asked, answered, debated and discussed and we’ve seen intelligent minds pour out their opinions on the topic on different social media.
If I’m to give my opinion on the topic, my answer will be ‘no’! I’m sure any optimistic Nigerian reading this will have in his mind; “what’s he saying?” but chill, it’s just my opinion and I’m definitely going to give my reasons for saying PMB isn’t the change we envisage.
I believe President Muhamadu Buhari is a good man, one with vision and somebody who’s going to take Nigeria to a different level. I also believe he is ‘the change’; the change we deserve, not the one we envisage.
Buhari is the change we deserve because we have shown that we want a man of integrity, the one who is totally against corruption, a man who says what he means and means what he says, the man who never gives up; the determined one. We showed that by becoming campaigners during the last election and even going out to vote despite the security situation in the country for someone who we believed and still believe will do things right. We now have our eyes open, so, we now deserve someone who’ll serve us, not someone we’ll serve.
Despite these, I still believe he isn’t the one we envisage because we have raised our hopes too high and we expect him to act like a magician and not a human. This isn’t possible, we should know it’s not a day work and we should remember that Rome was not built in a day. Don’t expect him to turn Nigeria to USA in just four years…
I believe PMB will be take us to a better place but I feel before he does that, he’ll do more in dealing with the corrupt people holding high positions in the government and for him to do this is a different task itself and would take a lot of time. Almost four months in office, there’s not been ministers in the government. Though, there have been improvements in our country but there probably would have been more improvements if there were ministers. I support Mr. President for this nice decision taken because he wants to make sure the right people are in the right position, and by doing this, he has to take his time.
I’m so much optimistic he’s the messiah we deserve, but also believe he’s not yet the one we envisage.

It’s just a matter of time though, he can be what we envisage, all we need to do is give him time to run his administration and be better citizens ourselves because that is where it starts from!
