2016 : THE SUMMARY

"2016 : Life begins, the hustle begins." That was exactly what I wrote(but did not publish) at the end of 2015. It ended up being a 'prediction come true'.
2016 has been filled with more events, lessons and memories than the entire years before it. It's a year I would never forget as it taught me a lot of lessons about a lot of aspects and parts of life.
All 99 attributes of God that I've known, I understood more and I can't but give glory and praises to Him; The Self Subsisting, The Beneficent, The Most High. I've come to realise that life is like a programme written by Him already and we're just 'things' put in it to make His words come true.
Which of the favours of my Lord this year would I deny? Is it that He saved me when I thought I'd die? That He healed me when I was very sick on numerous occasions? That He made my family even love me more? That He blessed me with new awesome friends? That He made the old ones even more awesome? Or that He put in me hope when I thought all was lost? Just tell me, which?
Until my last breath on earth, I'll worship Him and become even a better servant, hoping I'm able to do all that He likes and go against all that He dislikes, by His grace.
Yes, family has always been my biggest blessing on earth and it became even a bigger one this year as the support, love and care I got from them cannot be described with words. Someone said to me sometime ago - "...and make your family proud, as they are the only permanent thing in your life." As hurtful as those words sounded to me then because of the manner in which they were uttered, they ended up being one of the truest things someone ever told me. The person was right anyway.
Oh, KK Awesome's friends are the best in the whole wide world! I have a lot of them but I don't want to start naming (not in this writeup). They've shown me that even with friends alone, you can survive in this sometimes unpleasant and depressing world and for that and many other things, I'm grateful and I wish every single one of them all the best in life.
2016 to me was the year in which I experienced 'failure' at first class and at the same time, the year in which I gathered more success. Maybe that is just a way I was taught what life is all about - like a rollercoaster; a track that you rise, fall, twist and turn. And that buttressed my dad's words of life being a wave.
The aspect of life that made me more fulfilled in this year is the 'writing' aspect. It brings me indescribable joy to know that what I love doing and don't see as a task has brought this much to me. The comments and feedback I got from my readers about being an inspiration to them, the calls I got from readers I don't know and I've never met, the respect I got from my readers around me, people that became writers because I inspired them to and most importantly, that I'm able to help humanity to an extent with the little I penned down makes me one of the happiest and most fulfilled persons on earth.
As much as I'd love to keep on writing now, I'd stop. Hopefully, I'll drop more centralised topics about my lessons and experiences(failure, love, writing, relationship, school, etc) subsequently.
