An Elegy To My Late Grandma

A lot of things we didn't discuss
Cos I wasn't in that level to discuss deep things with you
A lot of matters we weren't able to solve
Cos a lot of dramas sorrounded you
Maybe if I knew that day was the last time I'd say goodbye, I'd have done it more properly
And if I knew it was the last time I'd set my eyes on you, I'd have spent more time with you
Good nations you produced
Great people you birthed
And a lot of things you achieved
Forgiveness and God's mercy are all I wish you now
For when you existed, all I could do for you was a little
It hurts that you never saw me become the man I wanted you to see me become
But God's wish would never be left unfulfilled
For all the very indirect and direct life lessons, thank you
For being an important part of my family, I'm ever grateful
I pray and hope the hereafter is better than here ever was
Rest in peace grandma.
